tingling sensation only in left arrm

the tingling lasts for a couple of minutes from the wrist to the shoulder. it occurs every one hour and then does down after a couple of minutes. it starts very mildly when u can just feel it andthen gets a little sharpwhen you feel llike scrathing it. it does not occur in the right arm at all....
