Hi - I am 13 days post-op and am doing great! I woke up one morning in March and had been in significant, unrelenting pain. I tried everything - oral steroids, muscle relaxers, narcotics, and epidural injections with no relief. The day of surgery I had immediate relief of pain and numbness and have taken only tylenol for minor aching in my shoulders since. Prior to surgery I had become depressed regarding the pain and my inability to participate in activities I enjoy. I feel very fortunate that my recovery has gone so well and hope that those looking at having to have surgery experience similar positive outcomes.
