Is there a connection between a stomach ulcers and burns?

My sister has sustained a third degree burn couple of months ago and it looks like she is ok now, except for the fact that she has developed stomach ulcers. Is there some connection between stomach ulcers and burns? I heard that the burn might cause an ulcer? Is that true?
