I've had an ache in my left testicle for a few days now but today when i relaxed the muscles to urinate the pain became a little more intense, and there is a lingering dull pain after urination... i've read that changing from boxers to tighty whities may help, could this help me?

sudden sharp pain in testicle

Had laproscopic inguinal surgery operation about ten years ago. No problems until today. Noticed a sharp pain in same side testical when bending or moving in a certain way. No pain when prone. No lump or any kind in scrotum area as yet. Does the above suggest the repaired hernia is recurring?
