sore dry throat

I have had off and on for a few months....a sore dry throat that comes and goes. Some times it so dry it causes me to almost choke. Anyone have anything like this? Anyone have any luck on finding a cure or something. Thanks :-D :-D

two doses of antibiotics and still sick

My daughter, age 7, has been on two rounds of antibiotics (first for an infection in her finger and then for strep). She had had an up and down fever during the course of both doses. Is this normal? She finished her last pill yesterday and was sent home today with a fever of 100.7.
