Excess Mucus in the back of my nose

For the last few years I have had an excess amount of mucus/snot in the back of my nose. I can easily transfer the mucus from the back of my nose to my mouth by performing a contractile motion with my nose/throat muscles. Once I spit out the mucus, it usually comes back in about 5-10 minutes....

Lump in throat - painfull to swallow

For about a month now, I have had a very bad pain in the left side of my throat. It only hurts if I try to swallow. I have had no cough/cold symptoms, so I am not sure what it could be. I have been very concerned and I am not sure if I should visit a doctor about it or not.
