cause of virus

i had a fairly sudden oset of a virus. i got a cold sore that went away in 3-4 hours and swollen glands. i feel better now, but my tongue is painful when i swallow as is my throat.it has been 5 days but can't figure out how a virus could come and go so fast. what sort of virus could it be??

If you suffer any kind of pain you have'nt found the cause for it, such as arthritis pain, knee pain, leg pain, jaw pain, swollen eye lids, something stuck by throat, metallic sensation when drinking water, finger swelling ........ check your anti perspirant and deodorant ,,,, the damn aluminium...

A few day's ago i noticed a slight pain when i swallowed then it got worse a lump in my throat started to be very painful when i swallowed then a shooting pain to my left temple i have a doctors appointment tomorrow so i guess i will find out what is going on
