white thing behind my uvula

there is something behind my uvula, on the left side and it is white. I have no idea what it is. its not itchy or anything like that but its just there and i can sometimes feel it with the back of my tongue. It is kind of worrying me though. If anyone can help, that would be great. :)

tonsil removed, it was the most painful ever

I am 69 years old and had one tonsil remover. It is the most painful thing I have ever had done. Everytime I eat it hurts even more and I have to take a pain pill. Does anyone my age know how long I will feel like this.

The right side of my throat hurts when I swallow.  It kind of feels like there is something there but I know there is not.  I even pressed on the side of my neck where the sore throat is and start to hurt a little bit when I press on it.
