Your comment is awaiting moderation. I am now 53 years old. in December 1983 first I noticed my throat was making too much thick mucus. then I was in Bangladesh. I was feeling very uncomfortable. since than I saw many ENT specialist. at last according to their advice my tonsil was removed in 1987....

choked on a pill and voice now croaky

I choked on a large ibprofen pill which lodged in my throat.  At the hospital they said it would dissolve by itself.  My throat is extremely sore and my voice and my voice is crokey.  Using soluble solpadeine, can't swallow anything else.  Is this normal?
