Swollen Tonsils

hi my daughter is 2 and a half years old and her tonsils are really swollen. and it sounds like shes losing her voice. she wont let the doctors look in her mouth so there has been no diagnosis..i was wondering if anybodys children has had swollen tonsils with earaches..and if i should be concerned.

I am 18 years old and had my tonsils out last Thursday. I wanted to know how long it would take until I can eat and stop taking my pain medicine. I cant even drink anything. I have been smoking for a year and I want to know how long I need to wait to smoke a cigarette.
