I need to yawn!!!

How long in the hospital

I am going in for surgery in a week, and I was wondering how long I'd be in the hospital. Is it an overnight thing and then I go home? or Do they send you home that day? I know they say it takes two weeks or so to recover, but how much of that time is spent in the hospital?
