day 13 sneezed and very large red scab came up from adenoids??

Hi, I am a 20 year old male post op on day 13.  Thought everything was going well, but I sneexed and a very large scab came up.  It freaked me out and it was not white.  Did it maybe come from the adenoids?  Has this happenned to anyone else??
