hi guys! i am on day 8 of my tonsillectomy... it has been aweful.. i am on here because i need any advice on what i am experiencing now. when i take a sip of gatorade or any food, i get this horrible burning on the right side of my throat in the back and it radiates into my right ear. it only happens to the right side, which i don't understand. on the right side of my tongue, it feels like there is something sharp poking me but i don't see anything. i haven't been able to drink or eat anything today or yesterday. i thought that it was getting better, but i am confused by this aweful burning and stinging feeling on the right side. is it possible that maybe its raw on that side and thats what is causing the horrible burning and pain in the ear and throat. its the only thing i can think of. the other question i wanted to ask is, when the scabs are falling off, do they feel sharp? i would love to hear any feedback from anyone.. i am suppose to go back to work on saturday. the doctor says that if i am still feeling this way on monday, that he wants to see me in the office. i was just there and they said that it looked ok. so i am very confused what this could be.
