I have had light bleeding for two days and haven't actually ovulated this month

Me and my partner are trying to concieve, according to my chart i should of ovulated the 22nd march however that day i had very light bleeding and havent actually ovulated this month, my period is due around 8th and i have had a negative test. what could this be?
