upper adominal disconfort after eating while sitting

I have a discomfort like someone is poking me after I eat right below my sternum. I have gained a few pounds in the last couple of months. This is the only symptom I have and I wonder if is just because of my extra weight and my pants being tighter. Anybody had this before?

Sore upper central abdomin

I have pain when I sit or lay down in my upper abdomin. It also goes to my back, It is worse after I lift weights or golf. I was at the doctor a month ago and he gave me medication for an infection. Also I found a small foreign lump in mu urine.

After returning from Iraq, I had a few episodes of blood in my stool, sometimes alot sometimes very little. a little over a year after that I had intense pains in my abdomen and many symptoms similar to Appendicitis. Was sent to a hospital in germany (because that is where i am currently stationed.)...
