bad headache, missing period, cannot be pregnant

my period is 6 days late and i have been having horrible headaches. headaches are something i've always experienced though. i sometimes feel sick to my stomach, frequent urination...i know i am not pregnant, so that is ruled out. i just want to know what's up. any help is appreciated.

may 2008 my wife was hospitalized because she had hemorrhagic fever and her platelet count went down to 30 below the normal level but she was asymptomatic she didnt have any rash nor bleeding is just my her platelets alone as their basis, so they rehydrated her and she was discharged after 3 days...
