Ramipril for two month

I have been taking Ramipril for approx two months. I am sleeping a lot. When I complained to my cardiologist he said that this side effect would disappear in about a month! I would like to hear from other takers of this medication.

Can this med be used to help fluid retention after surgery. I had a lipoma removed near the navel and a bump still remains that the doctor says is filling with fluid and that it should disperse. It has been three weeks since surgery and it's still there. Thanks
