My brother is having some nasty symptoms at the moment, and as polymyositis runs in our extended family my mom has even been suggesting that this is what he might have as well. Can anyone clarify what the early signs and symptoms of polymyositis are? I really hope this is not what he has!

I read something about a connection between vasculitis and hepatitis B in my local newspaper. Now, I do suffer from hepatitis B but I have been receiving treatment and the condition is pretty much under control, I would say. Is there a chance that I will go on to develop vasculitis, or not?
