crohn's disease and rashes

I have been getting these itchy and read, patchy rashes on different parts of my skin, which coincided with a crohn's disease flare up. My doctor told me that this is very normal in crohn's disease, but it is the first time I am encountering something like that. Have any of you guys had rashes?
