We have lupus in our family, at least several aunts and uncles have been diagnosed with lupus and this makes me wonder what we should expect of our newborn. Can systematic lupus be diagnosed as neonatal, and should I ask the pedi about this? Thank you for any information you can provide.

Hello, folks. My friend has been diagnosed with vasculitis. Her main symptoms are on her skin, that is why her doctors refer to it as vasculitis cutis. The manifestation seems like some kind of rash. I would like to know if there is something more beneath this rash. Is this serious?
