autoimmune hepatitis remission

Answered by a doctor

Hi, folks. My brother has just been diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis. Doctor says that it cannot be cured. However, if one is disciplined in the treatment, it can be controlled. I would like to know how long a remission can last. What does provoke relapse? I would appreciate any kind of answer.
