Can thrush be caused by the contreceptive pill ?

I am, and have been on the pill for the last couple of years. I recently changed pills and am now taking Cilest. I have however started to experience pain and discomfort in my vagina, and also thrush. Could this be related taking cilest ? Any help would be apprciated ! Thanks

On the pill-brown (dark and light) and bloody discharge.

I just started the pill (I'm on day 12 of my first pack) and my period has turned into this light (As in not heavy) brown (both dark and light, depending) discharge. Sometimes there's clear discharge with what look like streaks of blood in it. Is this something I should worry about?
