I started taking birth control a few months ago. Last week I had some light spotting for a couple days, and I am now on the last inactive pill of my pack and haven't gotten my period yet. I haven't missed any pills, but I am a little worried. Is it likely I am pregnant?

So I stopped my birth control, we're still having sex, and now Im spotting sporatically, but im not due for another 2 weeks. Im freakin out that Im pregnant, but I don't know if a preg test will pick it up, don't you have to be late for it to be able to pick up the right chemicals??
