Degenerative bone disease and sleep positions

I have degenerative bone disease and I am now in another flare-up and am missing work. I will have an MRI tommorrow. THe pain seems worse at night, what is the best position to sleep in? It hurts worse on my side and I have heard that you shouldn't sleep on your back. Thanks for any advice

lump on front of knee

Can you tell me anything about what a lump on the knee could be? I have trouble walking because of this lump, and though it is not agony, I will say that every step I take is uncomfortable. Can it be a kind of bruise, or should I go to the doctor to find out if it is anything more serious?
