Corticosteroids are drugs related to cortisol, a hormone produced in the adrenal cortex. Corticosteroids are used primarily as anti-inflammatories but could be also used for treating some malignancies or natural hormone deficiency. Corticosteroid Drugs Include: Betamethasone (Celestone), Budesonide (Entocort EC), Cortisone (Cortone), Dexamethasone (Decadron), Hydrocortisone (Cortef), Prednisolone (Prelone), Prednisone (Deltasone) and Triamcinolone (Kenacort, Kenalog).

Can a cortizone shot cause you to have a headache??

I had a cortizone shot in my hip yesterday morning and have had a headache ever since. I am also feeling very depleted and hot!  Like heat flashes. I Am wondering if it is all related to the shot  because I never get headaches anymore since the change of life.
