Corticosteroids are used primarily as anti-inflammatories but could be also used for treating some malignancies or natural hormone deficiency. Tapered off prednisone ( took for fluid in my lung , after open heart surgery)--still, the jitters

I took 5 prednisone pills for 5 days, then the same with 4 pill, and tapered on down. I have been off the prednisone 1 pill for 5 days dose ( so am finished), three days ago. Any idea how long I will still have the jitters / tremor ?? It is SO annoying!! Now, lets hope the rest of the fluid...

Has cortisone put extra weight on me?

I have had seven cortisone injections in the last 12 months and in this time i have also gained excessive weight. Not even exercise has shifted this gain. I'm not a big eater and have shed weight before this with exercise. I'm at a loss as to why this has happened.
