I took 5 prednisone pills for 5 days, then the same with 4 pill, and tapered on down. I have been off the prednisone 1 pill for 5 days
dose ( so am finished), three days ago. Any idea how long I will still have the jitters / tremor ?? It is SO annoying!! Now, lets hope the
rest of the fluid will be gone from my lung in a week!
(PS I also had pleurisy & am unable to take antiinflammatory drugs)

Well, people on Prednisone get tremors even for the highest doses and for the lowest, that part really surprised me. And while I was reading on that subject, all these people were on it for so long so that they somehow are managing to live with it. The weird part is - no one even asks will this stop when I stop taking the medicine because many think it's a part of their original disease.
So, I wasn't very helpful, but I think you should call your doctor or pharmacist - someone professional and ask when will the tremors stop now that you are no longer on Prednisone. And maybe, in the meantime, someone here will give you the better info than I could.
