painful periods and chunky blood

It kinda hurts when urinating and putting a new pad on, and once i urinated, i saw a chunk fall in and when i flushed, it didnt just blend, it strung out like a chunk. But it hurts occaisonally and im going to, not have, going to try a tampon. Plz help!
