Can mercapturin cause liver damage?

Hi, folks. My friend has been diagnosed with acute leukemia. I am not sure which type. He is on mercapturin treatment and I was wondering if this chemotherapeutic drug can cause liver damage or not. I would really appreciate all your replies considering my post. Thank you in advance. Bye, folks!
