A runner/ jogger used the street instead of sidewalk

This morning while driving through town I met a runner/jogger I couldn't tell for sure running on the wrong side of the street in the center of my small New England town (~20,000). We have brand new poured concrete sidewalks 5-6 feet wide. It was 6 am so there was not a soul on the sidewalk but...

Finally i can train without limitations!

After close to a year of running with limitations, I got the green light today. I can try to train for bigger stuff if I want, and I don't have to stick to treadmill or track. And I got some nifty new braces. I do have to continue theraband PT but that seems like a pretty small price to pay....

Whats the best way to workout in heat?

Hi everyone. My team is getting together this evening for a run, but I'm not sure what we should do for a workout. It's extremely hot and humid and we're definitely not used to the heat. Does anyone have some suggestions for a worthwile workout that won't be too horrible? Thanks

How do you feel about the dive across the finish line?

I am shocked the IOC allowed that to stand. Now will every runner have it in her/his mind that they might need to dive across the line to win? Are we going to see running diving as a norm? Maybe it should be a new sport.

What is causing me achilles pain?

Hey guys! Figured I'd ask a few things here considering I'm tired of going to the doc just to get the saying, "rest, ice, lower miles." Even though it's true, doesn't mean I need to pay to hear those words!!!! Anyway, if anyone is familiar with asics, I got the Landreth last year for...
