Cataract Surgery and Visual Acuity

I am 43y.o. I had retinal surgery one year ago, and cataract surgery this year to the date. It has been 2 weeks since the surgery and the visual acuity seems sharper, everything is more hazy, cloudy. It has not improved. I am concerned. Is this normal?

My eyes are acting up

For a couple years I've had these moments when in my sight get blurry and I can't see but if I blink a couple of times it goes back to normal. I have diabetes could that be the cause or something else?

Eye is Swollen, and a sharp pain when I blink.
