using synthetic hormone replacement and now my liver enzymes are elevated; can there be a connection

I'VE been having a problem with elevated liver enzymes, i stopped taking crestor for my high cholesterol about 6 months ago but they are even higher. the only thing different I have been taking is synthetic hormone replacement. can there be a connection? i dont smoke and occationally i have a drink.
