Recovery after hemorrhoid surgery, leakage problem even after 6 months

Its been 6 months and my poor husband is still having leakage problems. Says the leakage burns and is still soaking in the tub. The doctors don't think it's a big deal, however, I live with the man and he is miserable. If he goes out, he wears a pad.

I have hemorrhoids and have a very foul odor coming from my butt, I shower and clean the area daily. I also get a red rash on my butt hole and around it. Should I see my PCP and get an antibiotic?
