tapeworm segments in stool?

So I've been having stomach discomfort for the past month, and just recently, I discovered seasameseed-like objects in my stool, I don't know if I've had any seasameseeds lately, so I'm not sure. Could these be intestinal worm segments? And if so what type of worm? I'm seeing a doctor today.
