I have been having really sharp pains in my rectum and lower abdomen. When I try to have a bowl movement the pain worsens as well as when I try to pass gas. I have noticed that it seems to happen when I am getting ready to start my period and during my period, and my uterus seems swollen as well....

I had an uncomplicated appendectomy three weeks ago.  It had not perforated.  I'm still experiencing pain in my right shoulder and below my right ribs when I inhale.  I thought the gas should have dissipated by now.
