Does damage done to colon during Colonoscopy cause black tary stools?

I am havining a lot of back pain and pain on each side at waist. I am also having a lot of black tary stool. I recently had a colonoscopy. Are these symtoms indicative of damage done during colonoscopy? Thanks, Patsy
