Ever since my first c section i only have bowel movements once a month

Ever since my first c section i only have bowel movements once a month if im lucky... Everyone tells me this isn't normal and something is very wrong with me. My first born now 19 so this has been goin on a very long time and im not gettin any younger. Is this something i should be concerned with?

Has anyone had diverticulitis surgery by a VA (veterans adminstation) surgeon? I'm suppose to have surgery and I'm a veteran and I really don't trust those surgeons. Also, is there such think of laser surgery or not with diverticulitis.
