Right, so I'm 16 and for the past few days I've been waking up at about 9am - 10am, with terrible pains in my right kidney area, they take about 20+ minutes to subside, but I'm a little worried, should I be concerned? Or is it nothing? I haven't had any blood in my urine either.

Lower back flank pain when sleeping, relieved upon waking and moving around.

Panterapat I see so many with identical symptoms- yet few answers. (Lower back flank pain after 5 hr. sleep, pain gone once up and moving). Hasn't the medical community addressed this condition? Does this condition have a name? Has anybody received a diagnosis from a doctor?

had a kidney stent removed early..can that cause spasms or feelings as if you have a stone..been in/out of hospital for weeks and nobody can give me answers, only meds..seems pain flares every 12 hours and then i'm dying for 2 hours even on drugs..ct scan shows stones in kidney but don't seem to be...
