BUMP IN UNDERARM

well i first felt had a dark spot in my armpit for about a yr, then the other day it turned into a bump and it hurt. Now 2 days later the bump is still there but it doesnt hurt. Does anyone know anything about this. I am a new mommy and i am VERY WORRIED!
