I have mono, will smoking pot help with the pain?

I was diagnosed with mono October 1st, I have had signs and symptoms since September 24th, I never smoke pot but I am seriously considering it because of the amount of pain I am feeling, I know someone with medical stuff if I do decide to give it a try. Thoughts? Will it or will it not help?

29 FEMALE.CYST ON  LEFT OVARY RECENTLY DISCOVERED, WAS TOLD AFTER A ULTRASOUND THAT IT IS OF NO CONCERN.. A SMALL HARD  LYMPH NODE ON LEFT SIDE OF GROIN NOW FOUND..
