is it okay to wash my testicles with shampoo which gives me cooling sensation?

I have done this 2-3 times , washed my scrotum with a cool menthol shampoo which gives me cooling sensation for 10-15 mins , but now i read on internet that it can be harmful, i am very much worried now. I wanted to know its harmful or not .
