I have a period then next month I do not have it

Y am I having one   day periods?? I been on a diet pill sice my son was 6 months olds n but I was on n off them for 90 days n my periods had NT been national... I have a period then next month I will not have one.. What is going on

I usually have white discharge but then i got a brown spot but then it went back to just being white? normally i get white discharge but one time i got a brown spot in the white discharge, so does that mean i am going to start my period?
