period lasting over two weeks

brownish looking blood during period

the day before and the day after my period i have brown/red looking blood. i also have alot of clots sometimes. i am kind of concerned about it, but it has been like this for as long as i can remember. i've never had any problems. what do you think. should i be concerned?
