lower pain in the back in the middle on the left side

i have been getting these really painful sharp burning at my waist around in the back almost in the center of my back on the left side, i use to be able to move around & it would go away but now thats not working...

should I play hockey with myotonia congenita?

I was wondering, if a child has myotonia congemita should they play hockey. I read that a few of the triggers for episodes is heavy exercise and getting a chill. How do these children participate in sports???

muscle tightening front of ear

Should I be concern if there is some tightening of muscle or behind the skin near my ear,not quite sure, but its just lower my left temple. Its intermitent, no pain. Never have this experience before. Can anyone describe any same situation?

spinal muscular atrophy and having these shocking pains through my back and my sides

well i have spinal muscular atrophy and im having shocking pains through my sides and my back.I take ibephrophen for it but it makes me sick,then i started taking tylenol and it only takes other pains away so im asking it there is another way of relieving the pain without having surgery .Like home...

There is a thread for this topic in the gastro section, but seems to me like it belongs here.  Many people obviously suffer severe muscle spasms (Charley Horses) in their thighs.  All the posts reflect how horrible the pain is as well as how little understanding their seems to be for this...
