Hello, I hope that you can give me some explanation of my current condition. I am 61 years old and it looks like I suffer from Neurogenic claudication. All I know that it usually takes years for it to develop and that is why I did not notice anything sooner. Can you tell me, what are the possible causes of Neurogenic claudication?

Well, usually, this condition is based on the damaged nerve roots in the spine, especially in the lumbar part. So, we are talking about the wearing out the intervertebral disc and facet joints and that might take years. The spine canal becomes narrowed which produces pressure on the nerve roots and eventually the symptoms – pain, weakness, tingling…
