My temple is swollen and the headache is way worse

So yesterday the back of my head was hurting, my sis said it was jus a tension migrain so i took headache meds, well today my temple is swollen an the headache is way worse... Could it be cause my gums are sore? What should i do? Im only 24 and im not sure what the problem might be.... :-(
