My son has split tongue

My son noticed that his tongue just developed a long deep split (crease) from back of tongue to the front tip of his tongue. He has not been feeling well and is concerned. Please try to explain what is the cause of a split tongue. Millie

I am at work now, And my upper lip is getting swellen right now, And the only thing that I did different is eat BEEF JERKY, Im sure its has to do with how they make it, Nitrates, MSG, etc. I like it but beef jerky not the fat lip.

Our baby is 6 months old and soon she will start growing her teeth. So, I guess I need to know when we should start with teeth brushing in our kid. I have heard that sometimes it is not important to do it until all baby teeth have grown, but I somehow doubt that. What should we do?
