captipril

My doctor increased my dosage to 25mg 3 times a day and I have been taking 12.5 mg of captopril. All because recently I had an echo as a follow up for a myocardial Infraction I had three years ago and also diastolic dysfuction has been on an echo. Is this a reason for dose increasing?
