My husband has back pain, trouble breathing, and has been coughing up blood. He is 48, 240 and smokes and drinks. We cracked his back but he is still in pain and pants when he breathes. He coughs up pinkish colored blood. What do you think this is?

Chronic Cough on and off

Back in Jan. or Feb. of '06 i came down with a severe chronic cough. I was hacking up phlegm, when i layed down i could feel one side of my nose stop up. At times i would have a runny nose, sneezing, and i will wake up on occasion sounding stopped up. Also i was coughing so hard i was vomiting....

Can nocardiosis induce lung apces?

Hi, folks. My friend had some breathing problems, so he went to consult a doctor. After some tests, he was diagnosed with lung abscess. His doctor says that it is probably caused by nocardiosis. I would like to know if nocardiosis can really cause this condition. I will appreciate all your replies.
