CHEST PA: Irregular densities are seen on both lung fields more on the right. ​Periaprical pleural thickening is noted on the left. ​Heart is not enlarged. ​Pulmonary vascularity is within normal. Diaphragm,sulci and bony thorax are intact.

Unexplained shortness of breath

My sister-in-law has experienced episodes of shortness of breath while at rest. Her cardiologist said her cardiovascular system is fine. She experiences GERD (gastroesophageal reflux) for which she is taking Prevacid. Might there be an association between SOB and GERD?
